Please, tell us which are your experiences installing distros. Personally, I bought my yeeloong with gNewSense pre-installed. Then I tried to install another gNS (with the netboot image) but I had problems downloading the packages almost everytime. I think I had success once, but I couldn't install grub and I always had to load the kernel from the BIOS, and it is boring. Recently I installed the beta of Debian 6.0, (that AFAIK is going to be a 100% free distro) and I couldn't find grub(2) neither. I'd like to know which is the issue with GRUB. |
