| This category should consist of plants that develop woody stems and therefore have year-to-year cumulative growth. The trick to placing an identified plant in this category is to tell with older plants whether they were landscaped or seeded naturally. However, if a shrub or tree looks to be thriving despite years of likely neglect by humans it is fine for now to include it in this survey. | |
