Free Source Music License (Version 0.2) Preamble Modern recording artists use rhythms and melodies that were written long ago. Snippets of ancient ballads may occur in hit singles. In recognition of this history, this license will allow others to use the sheet music of other musicians in their own artistic endeavours. TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR COPYING, DISTRIBUTION AND MODIFICATION 0.This License applies to any musical work or other work which contains a notice placed by the copyright and publishing rights holder saying it may be distributed under the terms of this Free Source Music License. The "Musical Work", below, refers to any work of music or musical composition, with or without words, and includes any compilation thereof, and a "work based on the Musical Work" means either the Musical Work or any derivative work under copyright law: that is to say, a work containing the Musical Work or a portion of it, either verbatim or with modifications and/or translated into another language.
